I love when a particular artist inspires a textile design.
In this case, it's Henri Matisse.
Bold happy shapes dance on this vintage 1980's strapless SILK dress. I adore the bright colors against the black background, and the hearts on the moving bodies -- precious! What an all around fun and feel-good print. Do you guys remember on last season's project runway when the designers got to create their own printed textiles? I want to do that one of these days! (Added to the list of creative dream endeavors.)
