Memorial Weekend SALE!

Good news, my dears! There's a 20% off SALE going on this weekend in the shop until Monday night in celebration of Memorial Day. Thanks to etsyonsale, everything has already been marked down.

Hope you all have a marvelous weekend with your family & friends. My plans include spending time with family in utter relaxation mode and catching up with my best friend from high school who is in town until Monday for the Detroit Electronic Music Festival. Super excited to see that girl, she's in from Miami and I haven't seen her in 2 years. Pics to come!

Stay safe everyone, and don't forget . . . Click it or Ticket. ;)

Cello Boy

Orchestra was never offered at the elementary school I attended when I was younger. I would have loved to learn to play the violin! It surprised me when my son took an interest in playing the cello when band & orchestra were introduced into the curriculum last year. He's done so well with it these last couple of years. I'm so proud of him. ♥  (Pic taken at this year's last school concert last week)

Almost June

June is right around the corner, can you even believe it, ladies?
I finally listed that 1920's dress I had such a hard time listing. It's just so beautiful, I wanted to keep it in my possession. Though it doesn't fit me, it's just nice to look at. (Vintage hoarder, I am!) There are a few more recently listed pieces in this bunch. I hope someone gives that draped silk blouse a good home. I was thinking of having it altered to fit me, I love it so much. Don't you love backless styles for warm weather? Expect more lacey, pretty things in the coming summer months! Oh, and more vintage swimsuits will be making their way into the shop in mid-June. Stay tuned! XO

my heart just may break in two when I have to ship out this 1920's beauty one of these days!

Stripes for the Rapture

Happy Sunday! I know it's not very exciting, but this was my end-of-the-world outfit yesterday. Just the other day I was lamenting the loss of this sailor dress that sold in the shop about a year ago & though I am the only one to blame for that, (it no longer fit me & at the time I decided it probably never would again) I have forgiven myself & am now on the search for another sailor dress that makes my heart happy. I know this dress above isn't the typical sailor dress, but I recently fell kinda giddy over it due to its bit of nautical flair, & the bow at the waist is pretty cute too. It's also super light, comfortable, and semi-sheer - and even though I have read many times that drop waists weren't made for the petite gal, I do love the way it fits. It has what I like to call an "easy fit". But . . . why do I suddenly feel like that comes from some 80's jean commercial?  ;) Sorry I look sad in this pic, the sun was just starting to go down and it started raining shortly thereafter, but no earthquakes or disappearing people.
