These Shoes with These Dresses

I find myself recently wanting to add more shoes to the shop, because it is all too often I pass up a fine vintage pair during my shopping trips. I think it's because I love dresses so much more than anything else, that everything that is not a dress gets kinda booted to the side. (pun intended) ;)

Right now there are only 6 pairs of shoes in the shop. My goal is to have at least 20 by the end of next week. Possible? You betcha! Until then, enjoy this shop update with the current ones paired with what I think would be the best dress in the shop for an outfit.

Novelty Print of the Day -- vintage 70's GEISHAS in BLUE Caftan Dress

It's not everyday that I find a caftan dress that I like. This lovely geisha-filled frock is a rare exception. I love the intricate details on the print's design that make it appear to be a pen drawing made into a garment. Pretty, and guaranteed to be one of a kind. Love these novelty prints!

Novelty Print of the Day -- vintage 1960's WAYS TO SAY I LOVE YOU Maxi Dress

How do YOU say, "I love you?" This darling vintage maxi dress is a Gay Gibson design I've just come across, and I thought it deserved the spotlight today! I like the necklace the seller paired it with, and also think it would look cute with a skinny little belt. Word prints on clothes are a hoot, most especially when they are many different ways to say "I love you".

I LOVE the feather details on this dress! The colors, too, are so lively and bright. The psychedelic rooster reminds me of illustrations in a children's story book. What a perfect print for fall. Imagine it under a cute fitted blazer and paired with dark-colored knee-high boots. Maybe a pretty long necklace around the neck as well? Oh wow, I'm actually feeling a tiny desire for Autumn weather all the sudden. Somebody slap me. ;)

A friend recently introduced me to Dominique Young Unique, and upon hearing her sound, I was instantly transferred back to my 4th grade year,
reminded of when my brother bought me this tape below.

JJ Fad was one of my faves back in the day. I loved "Supersonic" and believe me, was it overplayed at my house! Did any of you have this tape too?
My cousins and I used to have so much fun trying to rap along,
never ever getting it completely quite right.
