Lola's Room

No dears, these aren't images from my room. ;) They are a collection of photographs taken by a talented Etsian named Cassia Beck.

I love the soft feeling of the pics given by the faded colors.
There are so many themes here that touch the romantic heart.

"Sweet and nostalgic photography," states the shop announcement.

Lovely!

The Photography of Ozlem Haluk

Something in the photography of Ozlem Haluk (AmelieAPoulain on Etsy) struck a personal note with me instantly. Haluk describes her photography as "whimsically experimental".

These images remind me of some of the private and quirky aspects of my relationship with myself, and the titles add to that view.

Aren't they beautiful, and possibly a little self-reflective for most of us?
I love them.

She hit pause to say. . .

We're all grown up, but we still like to play and daydream . . .

One of my very favorite photographers on Etsy, Matt Schwartz of She Hit Pause Studios was recently featured in Nylon Magazine.

I fell in love with his photos the moment I first saw them. The colors of these images make them seem like forgotten memories sometime between leaving girlhood and becoming a woman.

Ever get that feeling that you don't want to grow up? I have it almost daily.
