Hello friends! Hope you don't mind the occasional food post from me! While I wouldn't define myself as a "foodie" since those aficionados seem much more well-informed than myself, I would call myself a food LOVER.
Long ago when I was in college there was a coffee shop a few blocks away that served something called
Killer Bagels. I was crazy about 'em! Usually I would order mine with an Asiago bagel. (so delish!) but since I didn't have bagels at the time I made these little open faced sandwiches below, I just decided to put it on Asiago bread instead. (Trader Joe's has an awesome loaf! ) I also used goat cream cheese instead of regular. If you're interested in making these just layer these in order:
- Toasted Asiago bread or bagel
- Cream cheese
- Lettuce blend, or just spinach leaves
- Thinly sliced Tomatoes & Cukes
- Nutritional Yeast & Salt & pepper to taste
