To Cut or Not to Cut

I've basically had the same hair style since high school. Long and brown, with chin-length bangs. It's becoming so apparent to me lately how attached I am to this default look of mine. Isn't it crazy how attached to our manes we can become? It's been on my mind so much lately because one of my best friends has recently lost ALL of her hair due to chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer. A part of me had initially wanted to shave my head to somehow share the experience and make her feel not so alone in the frustration she had of losing a head of hair she loved dearly. However, when it came down to it, I couldn't do it. :( Thankfully, she wasn't disappointed.

I'm a big hair loving girl! When I go out, I prefer a little beehive, and some teasing. Nothing gigantic like Amy Winehouse's do', but something a little similar, only on a MUCH smaller level. But I'm SO ready for a change. Lately, I strongly feel the need to step out of my comfort zone for awhile. What makes me nervous is that once the hair is cut, there's no quick way of going back.

I did have a chin-length bob about 7 years ago, and really liked it. I just remember feeling like I had to style it more often instead of just wash and go. WISH ME LUCK, I'm hoping to go through with some kind of cut within the next month, provided I work up enough courage to do it!
Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. ♥

* Love these gorgeous big hair photos.*

* This is the short style I have in mind that I want, a sweet little bob with bangs. . . and I certainly wouldn't mind a little red tint either. ;)

  1. Whatever you do, do not go to Fiesta in Alma to get your hair done! LOL!!

  2. You can do it, Jessica! I just got 3" cut off mine today :-) I'm always growing and cutting mine off, no big deal. Sort of hard for me to understand why it's such a difficult ordeal for some.
