Pink Lemonade

One of my favorite summer time beverages inspires today's shop update!

And if you yourself get a little hankerin'. . . here's the recipe, courtesy of ehow.com:

1 1/4 cup sugar (if using unsweetened cranberry juice, 1 cup if using sweetened)
4 cups water (divided)
1 cup cranberry juice
1 cup lemon juice
* * *

1. Make a "simple syrup" by heating sugar and 1 cup of the water in a small saucepan until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat.

2. Stir together the remaining water, cranberry juice, lemon juice and simple syrup. Make adjustments to taste. Chill for an hour, or add ice to cool.
Serves 6.

Happy Tuesday to you! It's going to be a very short week.
Enjoy a few new listings in the shop!

  1. oh girl, that pretty pink dress with the big bow is so precious! it would be mine if it actually fit me! ;)

  2. love'n the lemonade theme! Cheeky & tart :)

  3. The first and last dresses are *so* sweet! I've made a simple syrup with basil for a basil gimlet (basically lemon juice, simple syrup and gin or vodka) before--yum.

I really appreciate your comments, thank you. ♥
