I had a deep sad spell wash over me there for a few days after hearing about what happened
to my favorite designer. . .
In other news, I'm working a ton lately helping a friend put together the last bits and pieces of a house.
Basically just sanding and staining.
It is actually kinda nice to be working around other people for a change
but my hands are suffering BIG TIME.
Now I know why many men in this carpentry field have those rough and calloused hands.
However, the upside of the ordeal is being able to see
this particular friend again, as I missed him in my life a great deal.
(We hadn't seen one another in 2 years, more on that later) :)
I can't wait to put some fresh listings up in the shop later this week!
I miss dressing up and immersing myself in fashion and pretty things.
I also miss sitting in my comfy computer chair,
eating at whatever time of the day I want, and reading my favorite blogs!
Here's a tiny shop update for now.
XOXO

Love that last dress with the red belt! It's so nice of you to help your friend out. Hey--thrifting/vintage-selling can also be hard on the hands, don't you think? (I mean, nowhere near as rough as carpentry, but still--my hands are always dry.) Shea butter is great for rough, dry skin!
