remember loving it as a child? I keep asking myself, what happened, why have my feelings changed so much?
I'm trying with all of my might not to let the cold and ice and snow and
dry skin and coughs and runny nose and scary, slippery roads get me down. *sigh*
But most of the time all I ever want to do in the winter is,
SLEEP
DRINK TEA, READ. . . and
EAT SWEETS.
Help! I want to find winter interesting again!!
These photos and quotes brightened my day
and inspired me to do just that.
Hope you enjoy.♥
"In the depth of winter I finally learned that there within me lay an invincible summer."
~ Albert Camus
"If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant: if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome."
~ Anne Bradstreet
"The color of springtime is in the flowers, the color of winter is in the imagination."
~ Ward Elliot Hour
Doesn't this remind you of the landscape of Dr. Suess's Whoville?
Valentine's day is coming up too, which is exciting.
Let me know if you have any TIPS on how you deal with these winter time days.
I would greatly appreciate it. :)

ReplyDeleteOh I love this post so much! Something that helps me get through winter is getting out on the nice days. To go ice skating on a pound, sledding or building a snowman. It brings back so many great memories of my childhood that I don't want to go back in!
ReplyDeleteToday I was JUST thinking about how much I wish it was summer. Winter is beautiful and all, but there really isn't much to do other than what you have stated. Keep your head up, though, warmer months will soon be here!
