Scrambled Eggs and WHAT?!

Speaking of cool thrift store finds. . . how about creepy thrift store finds?

One of my friends recently showed me this book he bought while thrifting, and I couldn't believe it! I'll let the pics speak for themselves, keep in mind the copyright date was sometime in the 1940's. I'm sure glad that our general diet has changed. . . a little.

Do you cook for your loved ones? Imagine if they came home to find this cookbook on your counter opened to one of these pages.

GROSS, yet makes me quite giggly. :D

Keep this book away from Dexter! ;)

In the Pink

Pink is the color of romance. . . and memories of my girlhood days.
Bubble gum. Roses. Bows to put in your hair.
And we certainly can't forget one of the best movies from John Hughes circa 1980's "Pretty in Pink".

Here is a variety of pinks in the shop as of today.
Happy Tuesday!

Novelty Print of the Day -- 1970s LIBRARIANS ARE NOVEL LOVERS Sweatshirt

So . . . being a library lover myself, I was eager to share this recent Etsy listing with you for the novelty print of the day. When I was still in college, my career plans at the time were to eventually be a children's librarian. My life took a different direction but maybe I will return to that plan someday, who knows.
Currently, two of my very dear friends are librarians and I just know they are going to go just as crazy over this vintage sweatshirt as I did when I first saw it!

Good Times, Bad Times, Give Me Some of That

Since half of last week I've been sick with the stomach bug. :(
So. . . I needed a feel good song for this Music Monday.
From one of my favorite female artists of all time!
Here is Edie Brickell's "Good Times".
Play it for the one you love, you'll be happy you did. :)
Such a relaxing song, and cool video too.

♫ I spend a little time with you. . . I want a little more. . .

xoxo
